Including artistic nude photos in a model's portfolio can boost their career if the photo is tasteful. Since photographers want to capture as many poses as possible, they often prefer to choose to work with guys who are willing to pose for nudes.
Photographers have their choice of many guys who want to become a model. So, if you want to get become a top model above other guys, consider it as opportunity to let go of being shy and timid about showing off your body. How to Tell if a Photo is Artistic
Artistic nudes are not designed to appeal to people seeking to get their jollies from viewing a photo of a naked guy. An artistic nude focuses on dedication a model has put into building his muscles or his natural beauty. Art photos have a sophisticated quality, showing body position, muscles and creative poses.
A model's penis will be visible in an artistic nude, but the penis not the emphasis of the photo. The photo emphasizes the model's body and muscles. Being naked is secondary to the natural beauty of the model.
One way to tell if a photo is tasteful is if the camera lens is centered on the model's penis. If the photo "draws the eye" to the model's penis, the type of photos is a "crotch shot." Crotch shots emphasize the penis and does not have much artistic value. Its just a cheap photo of a naked dude.

To open doors for a model, the photo should be created by a top photographer.
This means new models need to be highly selective when choosing a photographer to pose nude for.
Artistic nudes are best created by well-known photographer in a big city. Top photographers have advertising agency clients who buy their photography. They also have business connections in the modeling industry. These photographers create artistic photos in which frontal nudity is shown, but they do not create the type of trashy photos you see on porn sites.
These type of photographers sometimes print their nude photos in expensive photo books, which cost $80 - $200. They could not charge so much if their books contained trashy photos.
